The Monel 400 round bars are manufactured using a Nickel-copper alloy which contains about 67% of Nickel and 23% of copper. These ASTM B164 Monel 400 Round Bars exhibit good welding properties, and can be welded by all conventional methods. The Copper and nickel blend helps the UNS N04400 Monel Round Bars to attain higher strength and toughness. Their high strength and toughness of the Monel 400 round bars help them to have increased resistivity against corrosion and oxidation. The UNS N04400 Monel Round Bars maintain their resistivity against corrosion and oxidation even at sub-zero temperatures. These ASTM B164 Monel 400 Round Bars also offer excellent resistance to neutral and alkaline salt. When de-aerated, the UNS N04400 Monel Round Bars offer high resistivity against hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids. The Monel 400 round bars are also resistant against flowing brackish water or seawater. The resisting properties of the Monel 400 round bars put them in applications in several industries.
